Ready to be refreshed and renewed?
Join us for renewal in sacred wilderness
Welcome to
Ring Lake Ranch!
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ecumenical retreat center–nestled in the Wind River Valley of western Wyoming. While many of our guests hold religious affiliations (and some hold none at all), the Ranch itself is not affiliated with any organization or denomination. Everyone is welcome here!
Guests come for a variety of reasons – hiking, horseback riding, fishing, programs given by renowned speakers, the community formed each week with other guests and our staff, the beautiful surroundings and the chance to renew their spirits in sacred wilderness.
The Ranch is a truly indescribable place that I fell in love with from the first day. The lakes, the horses, the speakers, and the community keep calling me back, year after year. The Ranch feels like coming home.
Discover Ring Lake Ranch – a special place of refreshment and recreation set high in the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming on land that is the traditional territory of the Mountain Shoshone people.
The beauty of the mountains with their quiet lakes, wildlife, birds, and flowers beckons the soul to celebrate creation in quiet and wonder. Features of the Ranch like ancient petroglyphs, a rock labyrinth, and an outdoor prayer chapel invite all guests to contemplate the divine presence in a unique setting.
Friendly horses, miles of hiking trails, and fish-laden waters offer both the novice and experienced outdoors lover physical challenge as well as relaxation. Guests often see wildlife, including deer, elk, and bighorn sheep, as they hike, ride, and canoe. Bird watching, from our resident osprey family to chickadees, bluebirds, and eagles, is a favorite pastime.
